The 2024 Movement Building application period is open through deadline, June 18, 2024, at 5:00 PM EST.
The Fels Fund will only consider one funding inquiry at a time per organization. Once the deadline has passed, no additional funding inquiries will be accepted until the next grant cycle opens in 2027. Review the full grantmaking timeline on the grant deadline page.
Organizations applying to Fels for the first time and organizations who have not applied to Fels since July of 2017, please create an account to access the online proposal system. If you are unsure whether your organization has an online account with Fels Fund, please contact us.
Introduction to Movement Building Workshop | Free Virtual Workshop
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 28 from 1-3PM EST for a virtual Introduction to Movement Building workshop, presented by the Movement Strategy Center. The two-hour workshop is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of movement building. Note: Attendance is not required to submit a funding inquiry.

The funding inquiry worksheet is a tool that provides context about the funding inquiry and helps you to prepare your submission to the Fels Fund. As a tool the worksheet helps you verify your eligibility, lists all application questions, and captures general information about your organization.
All applications must be submitted through the portal by the grant deadline to be considered for funding. Late submissions will be declined.
