Read MoreThe Samuel S. Fels Fund is seeking a Communications & Storytelling Partner to help us build our communications and storytelling capacity at a moment of significant civic, social, and political change, to make movement work more legible, grounded, and responsibly engaged by funders, media, and the broader public.
The selected partner will function as Fels’ external communications team, working closely with the President to shape narrative direction through active implementation, experimentation, and iteration. The work will span strategy and execution – developing and testing narrative frames, strategically positioning our voice, producing content, managing digital channels and media engagement, and translating learning about movements and philanthropy into public-facing communications.
We are looking for a senior-led partner with strong judgment and a learning mindset, comfortable working without a fixed playbook and able to make decisions about where communications effort will have the greatest strategic value. We are especially interested in Philadelphia-based individuals or firms, or partners with deep experience in the city’s civic, nonprofit, and movement ecosystems.
The deadline has been extended. Interested applicants should sign up for a 30-minute Meet & Greet on Monday, March 23.
Proposals are due Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST.
